A Letter From the Principal...

April 27, 2017

Dear St. Constance School Families,

Welcome back! I hope everyone is well rested as we enter into the final weeks of the school year.

Thank you to the many families for sharing such delicious Easter treats with us! They were enjoyed by all of us.

As mentioned in weekly correspondence, the 2017-2018 Re-Enrollment Form and Registration Fee are now past due. If you have not submitted yours, please do so. It is crucial that we have accurate numbers to report to the archdiocese for enrollment tracking, and to secure available scholarships and funding. It is difficult to plan for a school year without necessary enrollment figures. I am asking for your assistance in processing this information and attention to this important matter.

As you know, the 2017-2018 Book/Supply Fees will also be due by Friday, May 19, 2017.

This is also to remind you that the signed 2017-2018 Financial Commitment Form should have been returned on April 10, 2017. Please sign and return yours if you haven’t already.

Now that we are nearing the end of April, this is to remind you that your 15 hours of volunteer service or the $350.00 fee is due on or before April 30, 2017. Please note that no partial hours will be accepted. Any hours completed after April 30, 2017 will be applied towards the 2017-2018 school year.

In a previous communication, I shared with you this year’s Grade Level winners in the 26th Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest. There were approximately 275,000 students who participated in this contest. I am pleased to inform you that we received word that 8th grader, Ysabelle Pinpin has been named as a State Grade Level Winner. Ysabelle received an engraved Zaner-Bloser State Winner Medallion, her teacher, Mr. Lind received an engraved Glass Diamond Award, and the school received one $200 Zaner-Bloser Coupon. All schools with Semi-Finalists and Grand National Champions will be notified in May, 2017. Congratulations and best wishes to Ysabelle!

We are only a week away before St. Constance School’s 100th Anniversary Gala takes place. Please join us in celebrating this historic event. Join us for the 4:30 p.m. Liturgy followed by a Wine/Cheese Reception in Borowczyk Hall, Open House, and culminating with a Catered Dinner and Dancing in the Handzel Center Gymnasium. Tickets are $50.00 each and available for purchase following Masses in Borowczyk Hall or in the school office for your convenience. Try your luck in the $5,000 Cash Raffle. Tickets are 1 for $50.00 or 2 for $80.00. Winner need not be present.

Enclosed in today's folder, please find information regarding an upcoming Student Council sponsored Out of Uniform Day. Please note that both Polish Constitution Day and Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. As always, please dress appropriately reflecting the theme of the day.

Also included in today’s folder please find both the May and June calendars for your convenience. A full 2017-2018 calendar with pertinent dates will be shared with you soon.

Have a pleasant weekend.
